But with the holidays fast approaching, sometimes it’s fun to go check out the holiday markets that are popping up around the state. Today, we’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite places to go when you’re looking for the best holiday markets. Remember to check weather conditions and if places are open before heading on out. 1) Hoquiam Winterfest
This annual downtown Aberdeen festival is a must-visit to put on your list this year. With event ranging from the amazing Holiday Market with so many wonderful vendors to breakfast and pictures with Santa. There is something for everyone to enjoy. And this year, you won’t want to miss the Trolley Express to see the holiday lights.

2) Seattle Christmas Market
When you’re thinking about which market to check out first this year, put this one on the list. With so many great things to do, like the double decker carousel and the walk-through Christmas Tree. But that’s hardly all they have to offer. Grab a bite to eat or maybe have a German beer. And of course, stop in at all of the amazing vendors to get a present for your friends and family. 3) Olympia Farmers Holiday Market
With winter on the way, the Olympia Farmers Market has transitioned into the fall and winter produce. Making this a great stop when you’re looking for a day of adventure. Enjoy browsing the wonderful handcrafted items from local artisans. While you’re there pick up some baked goods and honey. Plus, pick a day during December when Santa is there for a picture and some extra holiday cheer.

4) Leavenworth Christmas Market
Plan a getaway to the beautiful Bavarian Alpine Village of Leavenworth, see the Christmas lights that make the spaces feel like a magical snow globe. Then head over to the heart of downtown to enjoy some entertainment including choirs and bands performing holiday classics. And if you plan it, make sure to hit the times Santa is around to get a photo with him.
